This Week In Tiger Wrestling: 11/30-12/6

Hello Everyone

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had plenty to eat.  Tuesday was a good night on the mat, we went 3-1 with wins over Jordan, Athens Drive and Carrboro.  Next up the Indian Classic at St Stephens High School. Everyone will wrestle in this event, there is a JV and Varsity tournament.  Wrestling begins at 9:30am.  Here is a link to directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=1709+High+School+Rd,+Chapel+Hill,+NC+27516&daddr=3205+34th+St+Dr+NE,+Hickory,+NC+28601&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&sll=35.935345,-78.970719&sspn=0.015584,0.018497&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=9

Some of you may have the old schedule that has us wrestling Northern Durham this week. That has been postponed until January.

We will again spend the night at the mat room Friday night. This is so that you as parents do not have to wake up early Saturday morning to drive in your wrestler. If you are spending the night Friday, you will need to be at the matroom no later than 9pm. We will watch a movie and then get some sleep. Bus leaves CHHS Saturday morning at 5 AM!

This week in Tiger Wrestling! November 23rd to 29th

Hello Everyone

Our first wrestling match will be Monday vs Ragsdale.  Weigh Ins are at 6pm and wrestling will begin at 7pm.  Tuesday we will be hosting a quad with multiple teams.  Currently we are scheduled to wrestle Green Hope, Middle Creek, Athens Drive, and Jordan.  We are also going to try and wrestle Carrboro if they have a team.  Wrestling will begin Tuesday at 5 pm with weigh ins at 4:15.

The mat room will be open for workouts Wednesday and Friday of the break at 1 pm.  If you are in town and want to work out, come on in.  There will most likely be some of the older guys back in town to work out with the team.

Directions to Ragsdale can be found here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=1709+High+School+Rd,+Chapel+Hill,+NC+27516&daddr=602+High+Point+Rd,+27282&hl=en&geocode=&mra=ls&sll=35.935345,-78.970719&sspn=0.007071,0.011244&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=9

This Week In Tiger Wrestling: 11/16-11/22

Hello Everyone

We had a very successful Black/Gold match Wednesday night.  The coaches were very happy with what we saw.  The guys are working hard and are progressing very well.

This week we will be practicing every day.  There is not a match this week, but we have two next week.  There are a couple of events for the weekend.

November 21- Saturday: Seat back removal at Kennan Stadium.  More info coming soon, but we will help the booster club remove the seats from the stadium.  I would like for all of the guys to attend.  If any parents can attend, please contact Natalie Mumper.

November 22- Sunday: Club season starts back up.  4:30-6pm at Fetzer Gym.  This is a great opportunity to get some extra practice time in and workout with some of the best guys in the area.  This is the real secret to getting better!
